EAGLE ISLAND COMPOUND

This project won a 2022 Citation of Design from the CNY American Institute of Architects. When our clients asked for an elevated Adirondack interior we said, “Let’s go buck wild.” We channeled the coziness and timeless appeal of classic Adirondack Great Camps to develop the interior spaces for this compound. We worked with fantastic furniture designers in the Adirondacks and across the U.S. to customize pieces to perfectly work in the spaces. Choosing furniture with elegantly swooping wood branches and customizing upholstery in archival patterns helped us to create a beautiful, Adirondack feel throughout the main house. We used the exterior window Wineberry color as part of our primary color scheme throughout the house and on custom painted furniture. Our work is in collaboration with Taylored Architecture. Project built by Andrecon. First eight photographs (from left to right) by Krista Jahnke Photography.
